Effect of Stiffness on Flutter of Composite Wings with High Aspect Ratio

چکیده
High aspect ratio wing (HARW) structures will deform greatly under aerodynamic loads, and changes in the stiffness have a great impact on flutter characteristics of such wings. Based this, this paper presents an effective method to determine effect HARWs. calculation theory mechanical profile thin-walled structures, torsional bending are obtained through calculation. We use fluid-structure coupling analyze wing, we our research results based corotational (CR) perform structural calculations. The load is calculated using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) solver. show that, compared with original when along spanwise direction increase by 8.28% 5.22%, respectively, amplitude decreases approximately 30%. Increasing range 0.4 0.6 Mach has greater critical velocity, which increases 12.03%. aircraft’s flight speed is, more severe affects limit cycle oscillation (LCO) amplitude.

Nonlinear Aeroelastic Analysis of Aircraft with High-aspect-ratio Wings
The paper describes a formulation for aeroelastic analysis of aircraft with high-aspect-ratio wings. The analysis is a combination of a geometrically-exact mixed formulation for dynamics of moving beams and finite-state unsteady aerodynamics with the ability to model dynamic stall. The analysis also takes into account gravitational forces, propulsive forces and rigidbody dynamics. The code has ...
متن کاملAIAA 2002-1717 Flutter Suppression for High Aspect Ratio Flexible Wings Using Microflaps
Miniature trailing edge effectors (MiTEs) are small flaps (typically 1% to 5% chord) actuated with deflection angles up to 90 degrees. Because of their small size, these devices provide the opportunity for high bandwidth control. The present study considers the use of many such control surfaces to increase the flutter speed of a high aspect ratio flexible wing. A finite element plate model is u...

The undersigned hereby certify that they have read and recommend to the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering for acceptance a thesis entitled " Aeroelastic Roll Control for High Aspect Ratio Wings " Summary Modern aircraft tend to be light and slender. The high aspect ratio reduces the induced drag, increase fuel efficiency, and provide enough lift at low speeds. Therefore such wing types are used ...
